I stumbled on this book and, with a name like this, felt like it bore further scrutiny. I am glad I did! Reading it provoked a complete eyes crying, snot slinging, howling laughing attack erupted. Burned this one. The chapter "Trusting Men with White Teeth" absolutely wiped me out.Mr. Ferrari offers a non-politically correct view into human idiocy. He was in the NYPD for over 20 years so he has seen people and things that most of us will never see. His view of the stupid things that people do is spot on and he does an excellent job writing this stuff. Nothing is off limits- from Colonoscopies to Tanning Booths - Exercise to Suicide - Young and Old Drivers to Times Square on New Years Eve - it is all in here. This is stuff we definitely think about but rarely speak about (though we should). Buy this book. And, wait for Mr. Ferrari's Next one...

Vic Ferrari you're hilarious!
This book takes the everyday life and put puts a funny spin on how we see life. This book will keep you laughing throughout from page 1 to the back cover. For a quick read and you need a book to make you laugh I highly recommend this book. Vic cant wait for your next collection of life views.
Just a rant by author on dumb human behavior. Nothing new. Didn't even finish the book.
Haven't finished the book but it is hysterical. The anecdotes keep cracking me up.
So I read the free sample and entered the free giveaway. I didn't win. But the sample was so funny that I bought the book anyway!
If you like books full of cynicism and humor about life, this may be the book for you☺️ Plenty of funny stories and life advice from a retired New York City cop. Definitely an interesting read.
Vic Ferrari's book says what a lot of us are thinking but aren't willing to say out loud. Not for the politically correct crowd that are easily offended by anecdotal tales of real life experiences. I found myself having many laugh out loud moments. You can feel the author is telling these tales from the heart and has found ways to tell them with humor and wit. Written in the style of "S*** My Father Says" it is a quick, enjoyable, entertaining read well worth the price of a Starbucks latte. Vic has a natural and hysterical way of describing the many "characters" in this book and it reminded me of my colorful childhood growing up in the city in the 70's and 80's.
Hope this is just the beginning of the Vic Ferrari book train.......
