So many plot and character twists that it's hard to keep up at times. Nevertheless always engaging and well written. Author's style is 'compact';not overly descriptive, but fast moving and to the point. Sort of reads like a TV mini-series such as the TV adaptation of Wayward Pines or The Dome. In fact would probably adapt as a screenplay easily. I enjoy the mix of cold war era 50's history,time-travel, and small-town central Illinois location. This would make a good TV summer series. Excellent! As an avid sci-fi and thriller reader, this definitely lives up to expectations. For the life of me, I can not figure out where this story is heading! Anxiously awaiting the next book!
I picked up a copy of Paradigm Rift and was pulled into the story. It was exciting and kept me guessing and on the edge of my seat from the beginning. Once Tradecraft came out I could not wait to get my hands on my copy and I was not disappointed. This series has kept me wanting more and has kept me engrossed in the story line. I can’t wait for the third book of the series to be released!
I'm not normally a science fiction reader; however this storyline intrigued me. I purchased the first book. I enjoyed it so much I ordered and read the second. Great storyline. Puts a twist on history as e know it. Well developed characters. Fun reading. Looking forward to the third book
Tradecraft picked up right where Paradigm Rift left off. I can’t wait to start reading Proximity the third book in the series
I enjoyed the book while it lasted. I am disappointed that it ended mid story almost in the middle of a sentence. Then I was Irked by the request for a payment to complete reading the "FREE" ebook. So with this in mind I would say the book mostly sucked...
I started and resumed my knowledge of Paradigm Rift characters and was reallly engrossed in the action taking place, reviewing the why's of past plots,and the developing new ones. But the the story just ended without giving me warning. Of course I am waiting for the third installment, but felt sorta short changed by the sudden ending of Tradecraft. all in all, it was a good read.
Tradecraft takes off and draws you in immediately. It keeps you guessing with plot twists and turns. Mr. McWilson has such a rich imagination the storyline and characters are so interesting it was hard to put this book down. I loved reading this and couldn't wait to purchase the 3rd book the minute I finished this one. The highest praise for this book series is that as soon as my husband and I finish reading Tradecraft and the first book in the series, my Father-in-law wants to borrow it. I haven't know him to read any book besides the books in this series in the 10 years that I've been part of this family. All I can say is bravo.
